There is something deeply empowering about healing yourself when you are told you can’t. That understanding and my lived experience shapes the way I practice.
My Story
My mission is to empower clients to create sustainable, positive change in their health and their lives. I feel deeply honoured to walk beside my clients, supporting them in reconnecting with their innate wisdom and natural capacity to heal.
My journey into natural healing began long before it became my profession. In my late teens, I struggled with chronic urinary tract infections which were worsened by the repeated use of antibiotics. In my mid twenties, I was diagnosed with severe ulcerative colitis and told that the only solution was to surgically remove the affected parts of my bowel. It didn’t feel right to me that this was the only way out, so I went looking for another solution. I knew in my soul that non-invasive healing was possible, I just didn’t know how.
After suffering for many months, I finally consulted a naturopath, who revealed the deeper imbalances that was causing my systemic inflamation and presented me with a natural solution. Over the better part of a year, I worked to heal my entire system, not just my bowel. It wasn’t easy, but it was completely worth it.
Healing myself naturally changed the trajectory of my life and inspired me to help others do the same. I have since developed a deep passion for providing people with real answers and solutions to the challenges they are experiencing, and empowering them to take back their health.
When I entered the menopausal transition, I was called to undertake in-depth study into mid-life health for women. Through my research and coinciding lived experience, I discovered that this transition is a significant and highly undervalued life stage in a woman’s life that goes far beyond hormonal changes (and a terribly long list of unnecessary symptoms). It’s a physical, emotional and spiritual initiation that, when approached wholistically, is a powerful opportunity for transformation. Midlife is not a decline – it’s an initiation into innate feminine wisdom and the second half of your life.
My work supports clients in moving through this transition, feeling empowered and deeply connected to self, with as few ‘symptoms’ as possible. My work also supports menstruating girls and women in clearing their hormonal imbalances and systemic inflammation so their eventual transition into the second stage of their life is smooth and easy.
